The talented Miss Tey, tough guy stuntman David Brown,
and myself went down to Julian, CA to put on a few skits
and play with the kids at the Reach For The Sky Camp.
Talk about fun!
 
There were plenty of cheers for the Sheriff (Tey),
lots of ohhs and ahhs when the Ranger in Red appeared,
and boos and hisses for the bad dude, played by me!


then right into the story of Mean Moose MaGirk! 

And so, as it happened, one day, MaGirk came to town
to bust his brother out of jail, rob the bank, and take all of the candy and toys!
Well, he didn't figure on this town having the likes of the rough and ready
non-violent Sheriff! No sir!

 MaGirk got lucky and got the drop on the Sheriff,

and just when it looked real bad      

the Red Ranger appeared and knocked MaGirk for a loop!

   

That didn't keep him down for long, but the Sheriff
(with a little help for some good law abidin' citizens)
turned the tables on the bad dude real quick,
and I imagine he's lingerin' in some jailhouse right now!

Time to celebrate!
Tey and the gang sang a couple songs and we all got pictures
and autographs and had dinner and a great time!
We will do it again soon, I hope!

our friend and camp counselor extraordinaire - Raul!

I am very happy to be working on some meaty roles
in a couple of films from the legendary - Fred Olen Ray
and produced by cool guy- Dan Golden!
Also, I get to team up with my pal Ed Polgardy again.

The Jim Roberts Western BBQ took place at the Sportsman's Lodge.
It is the pre-party for the '07 Golden Boot Awards.
Lynn Anderson and Mentor Williams got up and did a few songs and they were great!
Mentor is one of the great songwriter/ producers in the music business, and
                     I really enjoyed meeting them.
